Registration Process

Little Springers

If you are registering your child for our in-house Little Springers program, you only need to register through the Springfield United website.

Little Springers players do not need to complete the Squadi or LetsPlayFootball registration steps unless advised otherwise by the club.

2026 Registration Process

Registrations for the 2026 season require players to complete registrations across the required platforms.

For most players, this will involve registering through:

            1. Springfield United website/Majestri
This is where you register with Springfield United and pay your SUFC club fees.

            2. Squadi
This is where players complete their Football Queensland registration and pay Football Queensland fees.

            3. LetsPlayFootball
This is the Football Australia registration platform. All players, including QMF players, are required to complete their LetsPlayFootball registration for 2026.

Please ensure all required registration steps are completed before playing. Players are not fully registered until the relevant registrations and payments have been completed.

Why Are There Three Fees?

The fees are split because they cover different aspects of your football experience. Here’s the breakdown:

Club Fees paid to SUFC when you register.

Covers local expenses directly related to your club, such as:

·         All match fees and competition nomination fees

·         Coaches and training staff

·         Uniforms and equipment

·         Team photos

·         End of season events and trophies

·         Ground and facility maintenance

·         Local administration costs

Football Queensland Fees (Squadi Platform - https://registration.squadi.com/)

Supports Queensland football development and operations, including:

·         Running competitions and leagues

·         Referee training and development

·         Grassroots football programs

·         Includes player insurance, ensuring all registered players are covered for football activities.

Football Australia Fees (LetsPlayFootball Platform - https://rego.prd.letsplayfootball.au/)

              ·        Covers national football governance and development, such as:

              ·        Supporting national teams like the Socceroos and Matildas

              ·        Developing grassroots programs and elite pathways

              ·        Maintaining and improving football infrastructure across Australia

Why the Change?

The three-step process ensures consistency across all clubs in Australia and helps allocate resources more effectively to grassroots and national football programs.

Why Are There Multiple Registration Platforms?

The registration process is split across different platforms because each fee covers a different part of the football system.

Springfield United Club Fees

These fees support the club’s local football operations, including:

  • Match fees and competition nomination fees
  • Coaching and training support
  • Uniforms and equipment

  • Local administration costs

Football Queensland Fees (Squadi Platform)

Paid through Squadi.

These fees support football across Queensland, including:

  • Competition and league operations
  • Referee training and development
  • Grassroots football programs
  • Player insurance for registered football activities

Football Australia Fees (LetsPlayFootball Platform)

Paid through LetsPlayFootball.

These fees support football at a national level, including:

Important: The Football Australia registration is what ensures players are covered under the relevant football insurance if they are injured while participating in approved football activities. If this registration is not completed, the player is not fully registered and will not be covered under this insurance.
