2027 Fees

Springfield United Football Club is currently finalising registration fees for the 2027 season.

Football Queensland has announced significant changes to its fee structure for 2027, including the introduction of a new Competition Access Fee (CAF) model. Under the new model, Football Queensland will remove its individual participant enrolment fees for MiniRoos, Junior and Senior players and instead apply competition-based fees to clubs. These fees will incorporate costs that were previously charged separately, including participant enrolment, team entry and certain technology and transaction fees.

As a result of these changes, Springfield United is reviewing its 2027 registration fees to ensure the new Football Queensland costs are appropriately reflected while continuing to keep football as affordable as possible for our members.

2027 Springfield United registration fees have not yet been finalised.

Further information, including the full fee breakdown, payment arrangements and registration process, will be published on this page as soon as it becomes available.

In the meantime, families can review the information below for an indication of the 2026 fee structure only. Please note that the way fees are charged in 2027 will differ from previous seasons.

2026 Fees – For Reference Only

We’re proud to continue keeping football affordable for our members. For 2026, only minimal increases have been applied across the board as the running costs of the club, including rising affiliation fees and operational expenses, continue to grow.

We’ve worked hard to limit these increases wherever possible, ensuring Springfield United remains accessible for all players while still meeting the ongoing costs of delivering high quality programs, facilities, and coaching.

Members will again have access to payment plans through to 30 June 2026 to assist with managing the SUFC component of registration.

Please note that most players will be required to complete registration and payment across three platforms:

2 Please note, we have brought the club portion back into our website entirely in 2026.

In 2024 and 2025, the split club fee was introduced for the ease of recognising Fair Play Vouchers. However due to the late change requiring separate registration and mandatory payment in LetsPlayFootball, our fee structure has been impacted. Please see “Fair Play Vouchers” below for more information.

What Do I Get For My Fees?

  • competition and team nomination costs

  • training kit
  • game day polo shirts for Divisional players and above
  • team photos
  • end-of-season events and trophies

Registration fees also contribute towards the broader costs of operating and maintaining the Club, including:

PlayOn! Vouchers

Springfield United is a registered PlayOn! voucher provider and can accept eligible vouchers towards registration fees.

Families can check eligibility and apply through the Queensland Government PlayOn! website. Refer to https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/playon for more information.

Voucher rounds open regularly, so families are encouraged to check the Queensland Government website for current availability.

How to Provide Your Voucher

If you receive a PlayOn! voucher, you must provide it to the Club using one of the following methods:

  1. Uploading the voucher during Springfield United registration by selecting “redeem a voucher” at checkout.
  2. Uploading the voucher through the My Details section of your Springfield United account.
  3. If the above options are unavailable, emailing the voucher to treasurer.sufc@gmail.com so the applicable credit can be applied to your account.

The voucher must be provided to the Club before the amount can be credited to your account.

If you are expecting to receive a voucher, you may use the part-payment option during registration and leave the expected voucher amount outstanding. Once Springfield United receives and processes the voucher, the credit will be applied to your account.

Payment Options

Springfield United’s online registration system allows families to pay fees in full or make part payments by card.

Families can also set up a payment plan through the registration system. Please refer to the SUFC Majestri Users Guide.for instructions.

Card payments and payment plans through the website are the preferred payment methods, as they are automatically reconciled and reduce the administrative workload for our volunteer committee.

Bank transfer is also available where required, with payment details provided during registration.

All Springfield United fees must be settled by 30 June 2027.

Please note that any separately payable Football Australia fees must be paid through PlayFootball as part of completing the player's mandatory registration.

When do my fees need to be paid by?

Fees must be paid in full, or an approved payment plan must be in place, before:

  • players can collect their kit; and
  • players can participate in competition fixtures.

As a guide, registration should be completed and payment arrangements finalised by:

Playing GroupFee Deadline
FQPL, Seniors and Divisional TeamsFebruary
MiniRoosEarly-March
Little SpringersApril/Early May

Springfield United will issue reminders to members with outstanding fees in the lead-up to the relevant deadlines.

To check outstanding fees, make a payment or manage a payment plan, log in to your Springfield United account.

All outstanding Springfield United registration fees must be finalised by 30 June 2027.

Volunteer Levy

A $100 refundable Volunteer Levy is added once per family registration, excluding Little Springers.

Springfield United is a volunteer-run Club. As the Club continues to grow — and as we take on greater responsibility for the management and maintenance of our facilities — the contribution of our members is increasingly important.

The Volunteer Levy is designed to encourage families to contribute to the many activities required to operate the Club successfully.

Families who meet the volunteering requirements during the season may be eligible to have the levy refunded.

How do I pay the Volunteer Levy?

The levy is automatically included when registering through the Springfield United website.

Where multiple players from the same family are registered together, the levy is charged once per family registration, rather than once per player.

The registration form will ask whether you wish to volunteer.

If you select No, the Volunteer Levy will be retained by the Club.

If you select Yes, you will be added to the volunteer pool and will be eligible to earn a refund of the levy by satisfying the volunteering requirements below.

How do I qualify for a refund?

The Volunteer Levy will be refundable where a member of the family is:

  • a Coach or Assistant Coach;
  • a Manager or Assistant Manager; or
  • a Committee member.

For other families, the levy will be refundable where the family completes 5 or more volunteer hours during the season in approved activities.

These may include:

  • Club working bees
  • assistance with field and facility maintenance activities organised by the Committee
  • planning or running functions and carnivals
  • fundraising activities
  • canteen assistance
  • administrative support in a Committee-approved activity
  • Ground Official duties
  • other significant Club tasks approved by the Committee

Routine team-parent activities such as setting up goals or flags, providing half-time fruit, attending training or games, or providing player transport do not count towards the volunteer requirement.

Nominating for Volunteer Tasks

Volunteer opportunities will be managed through the Springfield United website.

Members who nominate to volunteer during registration will be added to the Volunteer Hub and will receive notifications when suitable tasks become available.

Available opportunities can also be viewed through the My Details area when logged in to the SUFC website.

Once a registered task has been completed and confirmed by the Club, the applicable volunteer hours will count towards the family's target.
